Free Wetware Upgrade
After Drake and I spent some time searching through the Myth Busters forums to determine if the N Machine was already suggested (it was, and they won't), we wandered over to YouTube to look at various slow-motion videos of baloons not popping and came across this this water balloon being popped at 1/1000th speed.
This is a truly beautiful sight when you see it for the first time.
If you've watched the video, chances are you've just upgraded your visual pattern recognition library - basically a wetware upgrade (pun not intended).
How can you tell? Assuming you've seen the video once, go back and watch the video a second time. Notice anything different?
Did you notice how easy it was to see the pattern of the water without it's baloon skin, at speed, now that you know what to look for?
Cool. More super-speed camera slow-mo for me please. I want to see ninjas. :)
